Is there anything I shouldn't bring with me to the airport?
To provide a safe and enjoyable flying experience, we ask that you refrain from bringing any sharp objects with you to the airport. Sharp objects include but are not limited to the following:
- Box cutters
- Scissors
- Knitting needles
- Fingernail files
- Letter openers
- Carpet cutters
Is identification required?
Yes, customers 18 years of age or older are required to present a photo ID issued by a government authority. One of the following forms of ID will be accepted as valid:
- An unexpired driver's license with photo
- An unexpired passport
- An employee ID issued by a county, federal or state agency
- An ID card issued by a county, federal or state agency
If you cannot present any of the above forms of ID, you may present two additional forms of identification, one from Column A and one from Column B below.

How soon before my departing flight do I need to arrive?
Ticketed and non-ticketed passengers should arrive at the airport terminal 60 minutes before departure.
My child is travelling without adult accompaniment. What can the airport do to help?
Advance arrangement can be made for airline employee escort of unaccompanied minors throughout their trip. Fee applies.
What are the rules concerning carry-on baggage?
For each ticketed passenger, US Airways will transport free of charge a maximum of three bags in the following combinations:
" Three checked bags and no carry-on bags
" Two checked bags and carry-on bag
" One checked bag and two carry-on bags
Carry-on baggage is limited to two pieces per customer and cannot exceed a combined weight of 40 pounds or exceed 10" x 16" x 24".
What are the policies concerning weather conditions?
US Airways will allow voluntary changes to your flight due to weather locally or your destination. Also, you can be rebooked for the next available flight. Ground transportation or overnight accommodations are not provided. Some restrictions apply.
How long is the ride to Pittsburgh and is there a restroom on board?
The flight is approximately 45 minutes and, yes, there is a restroom. In fact, a flight attendant will offer passengers a beverage and light snack.
How long will the ride be to BWI and will there a restroom on board?
The flight is approximately 20 minutes and, no, sorry, the plane does not have a rest room.
Ive heard that the runway is being lengthened, can you tell me more about that?
Runway 09-27 is being lengthed to a total usable length of 7,000' with full safety areas. The projected completion date is late 2005. The Environmental Assessment is over 50% complete, and Preliminary Engineering is underway. The expanded runway will extend to the east over Rt. 11.
