Allegiant Announces New Nonstop Service Between Hagerstown and Tampa Bay

Company offers introductory one-way fares as low as $65
Hagerstown, Md. (November 12, 2014) - Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT), known for its affordable and convenient travel deals, today announces new, non-stop jet service between Hagerstown and Tampa Bay beginning Feb. 27, 2015. In celebration of the new service, the company is offering introductory fares as low as $65* one way.
“We are pleased to expand our service in Hagerstown and provide local travelers low-cost, nonstop service to Tampa Bay,” said Jude Bricker, Allegiant Travel Company senior vice president of planning. “Tampa is one of Allegiant’s prime leisure destinations, and we are excited to offer the community the opportunity to conveniently and affordably bundle their air, hotel and car rental reservation together through Allegiant.com.”
The new service will operate twice weekly between Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR) and St. Pete / Clearwater International Airport (PIE). Hagerstown travelers can save even more when they book air, hotel, car and attraction reservations together through Allegiant. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.
“The additional service is confirmation that the relationship between Allegiant and Hagerstown Regional Airport is strong,” said Phil Ridenour, airport director. “This new destination will allow HGR greater flexibility in meeting our customers’ leisure travel needs.”
In 2014, Allegiant has announced 34 new routes and inaugurated five additional routes that were announced in 2013. With these announced routes, Allegiant will link 86 originating cities to 14 world-class leisure destinations, through a total of 249 routes across 100 cities.
