Hagerstown Regional Airport wins Two Performance Achievement Awards

Hagerstown, Md. (September 16, 2014) If you’ve ever wished travel could be easier it can be at Hagerstown Regional Airport. Join us in a round of applause to recognize HGR for receiving Outstanding Safety and Security Performance and Zero Mishandled Bags Achievement Awards from Allegiant — the self-proclaimed “Official Airline for Sunshine”.
“My hat is off to the stellar employees at HGR that make travel seamless for our customers,” said Phil Ridenour, director, Hagerstown Regional Airport.
“Passenger safety and smiling customers are our top priorities, so to be recognized for those achievements is a testament to our commitment to expanding transportation opportunities for travelers in the quad-state region.”
As part of the 2014 Allegiant Leadership Conference, HGR staff were honored for their commitment to making flying an enjoyable experience between Washington County and Orlando Sanford International Airport.
The 2014 Allegiant Leadership Conference is a collection of invited airports currently served by Allegiant and airports that would like Allegiant’s low-cost, nonstop service in their respective areas. Airports have the opportunity to meet with Allegiant representatives and attend workshops that cover a variety of airport related topics. More than 100 airports were in attendance for the conference.
