AEA Recognizes Hagerstown Aviation Services Inc. for Training Commitment

Palm Springs, CA - April 20

The Aircraft Electronics Association announced the recipients of the annual Avionics Training Excellence award during today's Opening Ceremony of the 49th annual AEA International Convention & Trade Show. The Avionics Training Excellence award recognizes AEA members for their total commitment to training as evidenced by participation in AEA–approved training. This year, 64 members were recognized, which is the most ever.

Pilots and aircraft owners have no easy way of knowing about a repair station’s dedication to technician training; however, with a recognized commitment to training and by displaying the Avionics Training Excellence award, these AEA repair stations demonstrate their dedication to professional development and assure their customers of high levels of service.

As the preferred provider of avionics training for government-certified repair stations, AEA programs cover everything from the basics to advanced regulatory and technical instruction. Training is received at AEA seminars, through an annual exam based on technical information found in AEA's monthly magazine, Avionics News, through AEA associate members (OEM factory training), or through any one of the AEA’s approved partners.

The Aircraft Electronics Association represents more than 1,300 aviation businesses, including repair stations that specialize in maintenance, repair and installation of avionics and electronic systems in general aviation aircraft. AEA membership also includes manufacturers of avionics equipment, instrument repair facilities, instrument manufacturers, airframe manufacturers, test equipment manufacturers, major distributors, and educational institutions. For more information, contact AEA at (816) 373-6565, e-mail info@aea.net, or visit us on the web at www.aea.net.
